Pastor Michael Parker is a man seeking God’s own heart whether it be in
formal ministry or in ministry at home with his family, in Tempe, Arizona.
He is devoted to his lovely wife, Chris of 18 years and they have 4
children: Jeremy, Charis, Kendra and Cassidy.
He has been vitally, prayerfully involved in local church ministry for 20
years with 15 of those years as a Pastor of Student Ministries at Grace
Community Church in Tempe, AZ. In 2009, he felt God’s call to step out in
faith by raising support for this full-time ministry. Through his work in
the church, he sensed a profound need for mentoring among workers both
locally and globally. He felt strongly called and equipped to answer that
need and so he began his own ministry: Developing Workers. Developing
Workers stated purpose is to “develop workers to mobilize ministry in
Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and all the ends of the earth.”
Michael is passionate about coming alongside men to coach them in living
impassioned missional lives, deeply connected to our Creator. His style of
mentoring encourages and empowers, coaches and mobilizes workers to do
ministry, overcoming obstacles and promoting healthy balanced living. He is
optimistic and energizing yet not afraid to acknowledge and heal wounds and
patterns that might hinder a life fully devoted to God. A life he pursues
and models himself as he seeks a daily deeper connection to his Creator,
